TRR-TL
Southwestern Community College
Highlands, North Carolina

Due to the current weak economy, the Southwestern Community College is no longer able to fund any future Rescue 3 International Courses for 2008. This would result in the cost per student to exceed $500+ per student.

Therefore, this course has been postponed until another location or college can be secured.

Contact Trey Smith if you are wishing to attend this course.

New Course Registration Policy
Coming for 2009 Season!!!

Since our courses are taught primarily through the N.C. Community College System as a way to reduce the cost to students, we are required to have a minimum of 15 registered students  in order to run the class. The rise in fuel and travel costs has impacted our courses significantly.

As a result, we are experiencing a higher than normal rate of students cancelling their registrations  days or sometimes hours prior to the start of class. This has resulted in the cancellation of classes and the re-scheduling of courses.

Last minute registration and/or student absenteeism has made it nearly impossible for us to adequately prepare student materials and other logistical demands. This has impacted our ability to provide for a positive learning experience. Therefore, in 2009 we will be instituting a new registration process.

Past pre-registration practices have become problematic and will now require a financial non-refundable deposit before being accepted into the course.

Rescue North Carolina Welcomes our Newest Technical Fire & Rescue Instructors!
