TR Horizontal Systems
This class will present the Technical Rescuer with the correct techniques for the setup, operation, and function of highline systems for use at a rope rescue incident.
TR Lowers & Raises
This class will present the Technical Rescuer with the correct techniques for the setup, operation, and function of various types of high angle raising and lowering operations involving litters during a rope rescue incident.
TR Personal Protective Equipment
This class addresses the various types of protective equipment responders will use during the various types of technical and special rescue operations.
TR Rescue Equipment
This course deals with various types of rescue equipment used in technical rescue and their operational capabilities.
TR Rope Basics
This course discusses the operational capabilities of various equipment and the operational limitations of ropes, webbing, rescue equipment and demonstrating over 30 knots used throughout the Technical Rescuer Series.
TR Victim Management
This course addresses the various ways to move responsive and unresponsive patients using various lifts, drags and carries. In addition, the course combines previous classes into scenario-based incidents where the rescue candidate prioritizes and effectively manages rope rescue incidents.

TR Rescue Operations
This class will present the Technical Rescuer with the requirements for pre-planning, scene size-up, and hazards assessment for incidents involving rope rescue. This class will also introduce the technical Rescuer to applicable standards addressing rope rescue, PPE, accessory gear, rope software, and rope hardware.

TR Anchors & Mechanical Advantage Systems
This class will present the Technical Rescuer with the correct techniques for the setup, operation, and function of compound mechanical advantage systems used during rope rescue incidents. This TR Anchors class will present the Technical Rescuer correct techniques for the setup, operation, and function of various multiple-point anchor and portable anchor/lifting platform systems used during rope rescue incidents.

TR Fixed Rope Systems
This class will present the Technical Rescuer with the correct techniques for the setup, operation, and function of fixed rope systems used during rope rescue incidents.

TR Health and Wellness
This class addresses the aspects of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a first responder. This class takes an in-depth look into the interaction between nutrition, physical fitness, acute & chronic illnesses among responders, mental wellness and sleep deprivation. This course educates the responder into how all of these contribute towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle and how the firehouse culture needs to change to prevent injuries and illnesses among the nation’s responders.
TR Helicopter Transport
This course discusses the various aspects of helicopter operations during technical rescue incidents. The course addresses hazards, safety practices, medical criteria when requesting an aeromedical helicopter. The course also teaches the aspects of setting up a safe landing zone and discusses the aspects of the NC Helo Aquatic Rescue Team operations.

TR Emergency Medical Care
This course is required for all Firefighter and Technical Rescuer Certifications. The course addresses the fundamentals of patient care during technical rescue incidents and incorporates basic vitals sign assessments, patient packaging, signs and symptoms of medical emergencies, as well as, trauma emergencies.
