The forms below are in .PDF format. Once they are downloaded into your downloads folder, you can complete the forms digitally by typing your information then printing it.
- Step 1: Download the Registration Form
- Step 2: Open the Downloaded Form
- Step 3: Complete & ensure all information on the form is correct (making sure no abbreviations are used for agency name)
- Step 4: After entering the information digitally sign and date the form
- Step 5: Print the form
- Step 6: Download an complete the Form 200.14A Form if registering for Fireground Ops. 9 (If applicable)
- Step 7: once forms have been printed double check for accuracy.

Fee Exemption:
Students who are Paid or Volunteer responders from local or state agencies are exempt from paying the costs of the course. Tribal responders are also exempt. Military responders who are stationed in NC and those who are on an emergency response plan with NC Emergency Management are also fee exempt.
Students who meet the Fee exemption requirements may attend at no cost.
Persons not affiliated with a NC Fire/Rescue/EMS/LE or a member of a local NC Emergency Management Response Plan must pay:
- Class hours 1-24 $70.00
- Class hours 25 – 50 $125.00
- Class hours 50 or more $180.00
Please fill out all of the information required on the registration form.
It is crucial for students to pre-register because if classes have small attendance totals, they will be canceled.
Print additional copies if blank registration forms are needed.
- No registrations will be accepted by telephone or fax.
- Live Fire Validation Form for Fireground Ops. 9 must be completed and signed by your agency Fire Chief and mailed with your registration.
- The cutoff date for pre-registration is Friday, October 11th. Pre-registrations post-marked after this date will not be processed and the student will be required to register on-site the weekend of the school.
- Substitutions will be accepted for students who are unable to attend
- Late registrations will be accepted if class size permits
- Students should indicate a first, second, and third choice of classes
Minimum Age Requirement: Participants must be a minimum of 16 years of age to enroll in the Burke County Fire and Rescue College.
